My friend Gisela and I often go to the movies on Sunday nights (which makes the weekend feel much longer), and this time, we saw the Downton Abbey movie. Have you seen it?
I devoured the dramatic, soap-opera show years ago, so I was excited to see the movie. To be honest, it essentially felt like a two-hour episode, where nothing really happened, but I still enjoyed being back with the characters again. (And I loved all the silk skirts.)
This Saturday Night Live trailer parody made me laugh out loud. (“It’s mostly about cleaning.”)
What movies have you seen lately? I’ve heard great things about Hustlers and Marriage Story, and the Ford v Ferrari poster is pitch perfect.
